This is my story. The Phoenix Project began as a way for me to share my journey through many complex health issues, including Rhabdomyolysis, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), an undefined eating disorder, and PTSD. However, it quickly took on a new purpose when I was diagnosed with stage 2 and 3 bilateral breast cancer.
Early in my diagnosis, I was vlogging, uploading update videos about my cancer treatment journey. In March 2026, my channel was erroneously removed from the platform. After multiple appeals, I decided it was time to own my own website; a safe place to share ideas, stories, and life lessons I've picked up along the way.
"Out of the ashes of our most difficult moments, we find the strength to rise again!"
But it's not only about me. It's also about bringing people together—survivors and caregivers alike—to share their stories, experiences, and lessons learned. My hope is that everyone who visits will be blessed with hope, happiness, and love. It might sound cheesy, but that's how I feel.
Cancer has taken so much away from me, but it has given me so much more—a new perspective, lifelong friends, and a deeper understanding of what it means to truly live. This website, The Phoenix Project, is my way of giving back; to help a growing community find peace and solidarity in knowing you are not alone.
